end of July | updates.

I’ve been making some changes on my youtube channel, but ofc been adding captions on each video. If the video is only just myself drawing, I will be adding only a little because it’s just me drawing and not much to talk about. But the other videos where I show you what I’ve been doing, it’ll be fully captioned. We can have a nice cozy chat together :3 I did change the art cover and I’m so happy how it looks. The name Naminé is placed. In Japanese it means “ocean waves” which I do love to see and hear… and one of my favorite character from Kingdom Hearts. (also, thank you for 1,000 views so far on my channel ❤)

And, I won’t be uploading a new video this week. Sorry for the inconvenience. 

I’ve been drawing and painting the house a lot. These hands doesn’t get a rest, lol. Good thing I’m not shaking. I drew Zoro from One Piece. From the latest update of the manga, Zoro finally meet up with Luffy again at Wano Kingdom (it’s been so long since they last saw each other).

I went around a thrift store and saw many cool used stuff but what caught my eyes is this mirror frame from Ikea. It wasn’t open yet but good thing it wasn’t or I wouldn’t be buying this. It was cheap, 20 baht. After purchasing it, I took out the plastic around it and I couldn’t be happier. I’ll frame this on my room. ヾ(¯∇￣๑)

It’s been sunny and rainy but what was amusing to see was the beautiful Blood Moon so up close. Many people took beautiful photos of the blood moon. It was beautiful.

Drawing update:

I continued on drawing another collage, but with just only Aizawa-sensei from the anime My Hero Academia. I did it because I wanted to finish the last section of my sketchbook just filled with this anime/manga. It’s going well, I gotta say.

Gaming: 

I also continued on playing Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia on my phone. Recruiting Auron from Final Fantasy X was a dream come true. I’ve always wanted to play him and I finally can! (~_^) (it really is a start of a new story ❤)

Every morning, I would just take a few walks around my garden and see my wonderful sakura tree that my dad placed in the garden a couple of years ago. If the leaves start to fall from the rain, in a week or so, the flowers bloom.

I guess that’s it for the end of July, it was a good month.

As far as I’m loving the anime right now and I’m completely happy that it’s continuing onto a new arc. Not to mention, when there’s a new arc, there’s gonna be a new op. I can’t wait to cry even more and be more thrilled to watch it! ~\(≧▽≦)/~

In my sketchbook, I wanted the last section should be all about the anime My Hero Academia. I intended to make it nice and warm because the collage I made was just a sight to see And I wanted this section to be filled out more characters from the anime/manga. Like I said, I adore his artwork and I really wish to see him and understand what’s it like to be a mangaka. I know a little on how it can be difficult to adjust your time and not to mention, time-consuming. The artwork must be nicely drawn and the details must be precisely well done.

Let me tell you a bit about her. She’s a bubbly and lively person who likes to think everything positively. She’s friendly to those she meets and she will try to help/defend anyone that previously came to her aid *ehem, Midoriya ^3^* and people who are dear to her. Her humble background makes her incredibly excited or surprised over little things. The fun part is her quirk, called Zero Gravity. Her quirk gives her the power to manipulate gravity, such as making objects weightless or making objects float upon touching them. She can disable to quirk just by closing her fingers together. But there’s a limit, if she uses her quirk too much (around three tons) or if she makes herself float, she’ll suffer from nausea and may vomit. That’s what I do recall from the first season.

Upon getting to her skirt, I got led all over my left hand (the effects of the photo made the led lighter, but trust me, it was darker than that) and I was laughing on how I forgot to use my “God Usopp” as my protection. I should buy the gloves, anyone knows where to buy? >_<

You know me, I like to immediately finish and shade where I’ve drawn. If I don’t do it, I don’t have the confidence to continue elsewhere. I will think it’s not the same just like the original. That’s why you can see I’ve shaded everything and continue in another place.

The most time-consuming part of the drawing is the rug/fabric on her hair. I was afraid that I did a mistake or else I would have to do that part again. But no, I haven’t. YET.

Excitement comes when you’re so focused on a drawing that you know it will look amazing. As for me, I’m trying to get the hang of going digital for the past few days. I forgot how amazing it is! ~\(≧▽≦)/~

I don’t have a wacom tablet yet, it’s expensive to buy one. If I have enough money, I’ll buy it from my what-to-buy-for-an-artist-like-me list. So I used my own hands as a mouse and… well, I have a few cramps on my fingers. I’ve experienced going digital in the past but thanks to the program Sketchbook pro for giving big opportunities and it’s free! I tried on a bunch of techniques just for a start. I think I did alright hahaha.

Doing things “digitally” means that you are going to the next level of being an artist. Well, I would say it is but staying traditionally is still okay as well. We all have different taste. I really enjoy sticking drawing with a pencil and paper. I enjoy using different techniques when using a pencil and not to mention, the power of charcoal. I haven’t been using charcoal because they’re quite expensive and I haven’t used one since I last used it during the 4th grade. Thanks to my past art teachers that gave me hope as an artist. I still remember how they loved every piece I made for them. I’ve adored them dearly. (lol, for going off-topic there)

Anyways, the mangaka of the famous anime/manga Boku no Hero Academia artwork never fails to create great characters and design. Also, One Piece ofc. Their artwork made me so passionate on drawing and made me try their art style. What I like about artists is that they always have a style. A style that represents their artwork. psst, I don’t one yet. But yes, their style is them. It shows what they like and the way they design. It’s just… them.

My sketchbook is halfway finishing and I wanted to make all of the drawings that I’ve done until now be unique and memorable. This is a new drawing that I’m currently doing and I hope it will fit because like I said, I like to make things big ^ω^

a day off.

When it’s been a tough week, you gotta get a break and leave the house to get some fresh air.

I visited a few of my dad’s relatives in Pattani, Thailand and they were so nice to us that we had a friendly chat and ate some snacks with them. As you all should know, it’s nice when visitors come, you should always treat them snacks or tea/coffee/any type of drinks. I didn’t eat much but I did accept their offer. At least my little siblings took a lot of what they gave, hahaha. We only visited because there won’t be another time to visit them once my sister and I leave back to NY.

While I sat at the back and enjoyed some freely music to pass the time while my dad drives, I ate some Korean noodles. Like seriously, this noodle makes me want to drool. Everytime I make them, I intend to drool and my stomach starts to growl like crazy. I’m actually drooling right now as I’m typing all this hahahahaha. They’re expensive but it’s worth buying! ❤

We went to Big C and bought lots of things for the house. I bought a few snacks and cake for my little Arash’s birthday. I loved the pound cake that they sold. After shopping, we went back home and brought in the groceries and relaxed while eating the snacks, lol. What a day it was.

During the evening, I continued on the My Hero Academia drawing collage.

I’m happy on how it is turning out so I wanted to make part two of this because it didn’t fit everyone else on the first one.

I’m always busy with home duties. But once I get back to the States, let’s hope I’ll have some vlogs up on my channel then and show you my days there in NY. It will be tough since I’m gonna be jetlagged for a couple of days. Well, that time will come soon. I’ve moved to August if you guys haven’t known yet. (ofc you guys don’t know, lol😂) It should have been in the month of July but the price was high and moving to August is a bit cheaper. We cancelled that one and though about going on the month of August, which is okay for me since we have to start saving our money.

My sister and I have been making some progress on painting. As you can see, the cremé color… well, actually it’s called ‘Lily White’ works really well with the brown column. My dad loves the color of brown and white together since he has a love of wood. Do you guys like the way it looks?
